One "UNFORGETABLE" Weekend

What a great time!! This weekend Friday, Saturday and Sunday we spent the weekend in Cincinnati, Ohio. Our daughter had AAU basketball tournaments at McGee's Sports 4 Courts in Mason, Ohio...what a great facility! One of the nicest we have been to (and we have been to a lot)....that always makes it better and more enjoyable when things are clean and run smoothly! LOL We ended up going 2/4 so we didn't do great but hey 1/2 isn't bad! It would always be nice to take home the trophy but the experience and friendships my daughter takes away from it is enough in itself! My daughter loves basketball, actually she likes any sport with a ball but basketball would be the one that drives her! I love to watch her....sometimes her intensity and love of the game just pops right off the court...as seen below:

As you can see....she would be the one on the bench putting her arms up in excitement to her team mate that went up for a shot! Gotta love that!! =) But we all had fun......got to know her team a little better, got to do a little shopping =).......I have been wanting to go to these 2 stores that aren't around our area....MAC makeup and a store called Sephora which also sells makeup! It was awesome...and hopefully I will get to make it back sometime soon!! If you love makeup....Sephora is the place for you! Then........................ what would the weekend be without a little drama. We witnessed something that only happens on the news but right beside our hotel was a restaurant called Lone Star Steakhouse, which we had planned on going to eat at that night. But.......this happened:

Ahhh yes you are seeing right.....a car drove thru the front of the restaurant! Apparently an older gentleman went to pull in the handicap spot and hit the gas instead of the break! Yikes! But everyone was okay, and I felt sad for the elder gentleman! They got him out with the jaws of life and he seemed to be okay. But I am sure he was feeling a little humiliation that day! Sooo needless to say we ended up at Applebee's =).....................

On the way home my husband also stopped by this place and got me a..........

.....Chocolate Peanut Butter Cookie Dough cheesecake from the Cheesecake Factory!! Oh my goodness was it wonderful!! It was so rich though had to share it with the hubby! That was a great ending to our trip as we began the 3 1/2 hour drive home!

What a UNFORGETTABLE weekend......memories that I take away from it are priceless and thank God for giving me those many moments! A great way to start out spring break........now what to do for the rest of the week!?! I would like to give a little shout out to La Quinta Inn...I would like to apologize now and to so many of the hotels that I do this at! But I accidentally took something of yours home with me..........

So sorry =(.......maybe I will get that into the mail for you! Darn it!! Come on you know you guys do it too! LOL
